Hey!
How's it going, everyone? Things here are G to the RIM, folks. Specifically in the [lack of] SLEEP department. It seriously fucking with my normally cheery disposition and generally optimistic outlook. All I feel right now is summed up by the following quote:
"Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written the word: DOOOOM."
Anyway.
I'm thinking that we could all use a DIVERSION. So, how about this? Remember about a hundred years ago, I put out a CFQ?* And I told you that you could ask me ANYTHING** you wanted? And you did? (Well, not YOU or YOU or YOU, because you guys weren't really reading me back then, so this is ALL NEW to you.)
That was fun, wasn't it?
And I figured that in lieu of [thinking of my own content] making a Year-in-Review post [of shit I can't even remember anyway,] I'd just open the door to my SOUL*** and let you HAVE AT IT.
So, go ahead. Fire away.
I'll holla back, y'all.
It's not like I'm SLEEPING up in this mug.
*Call For Questions, obv.
**So long as you're not trying to get the automatic code to my garage door opener or any shit like that.
***Which, apparently, is kind of like that fucked-up-only-opens-every-15-years-vault at Disney.

I put up a post that mentions this post but I don't know how to do that trackback thing...
Here it is though:

Have you talked about how you met Mr. TNG? I'd be interested in that.

How is TLNG doing as a Big Sis?
If someone handed you a $100 bill and told you you had to spend it right away, what would you buy FOR YOURSELF?

(Please note that this question is posed by a first time, 39 y.o. mom...)
Which things about parenting do you think are harder given that you're not under the age of 25? Which things are easier?
This is, of course, all guesswork, as you really can't compare. I like to play this little game with myself, so I'm interested to see what you say.
Also, is there any snack that seems to help with the lack of sleep?

Have you decided that you are done having children or do you think you may go for a third? (I'm always curious to see if anyone else is as crazy as I am...)
And I third the request for more Manson stories. FUNNY STUFF.

Ohh fun fun!
Ok 1) What is your favorite meal ever? The thing you would have hands down over anything else. (cooking, prep and $$ no issue)
and because I'm greedy and the first question is sort of lame...2)If you could relive just one day which one would it be?
BTW...please keep coming with the "2 kids is so hard" stories...it makes for super birth control!

you and i r on the same boat (notice i am typing w/ 1 finger and bf w/ the other) my 7 mts old is apparently allergic to sleeping and the car. He barely sleeps overnight unless my tit is in his mouth and the car rides are a scream fest out of a horror movie!!!!!
God help me
I dont really have a question but more a request - please give us another manson story

I actually have 2 questions, is that legal?
#1 - Are you from Philly? I notice on Twitter you seem to be a fan of Philly sports so just curious. I'm from South Jersey, not be confused with The Jersey Shore which is so NOT South Jersey!!! I'm in Pitman, about 20 minutes from Philly. No need to be specific, not stalking, just curious!
#2 - Why are you so hard on yourself? Not trying to be judgemental, but in my opinion you are hard on yourself. Mothering is so, so difficult, frustrating, and sometimes just SUCKS! You need to cut yourself some slack. We all have terrible mom moments - I had one last night - when my 6 yr. old & 10 yr. old were awake @ 1 am I dropped the f bomb and threatened them about getting up for school today. I woke up remorseful, but had to let it go. Hmmm, hope I'm not annoying you - but bottom line, you are a good mom, give yourself a break.
