My bags are packed.
I remembered everything life-saving/important.
I'm over my travel anxiety.
I'm glad to not be bringing my laptop.
I'm okay with leaving my kid.
I'm excited to have time away.
You know.
Mostly.
P.S. Empty diaper bags make okay carry-ons. And plastic make-up cases that come with kids' stuffed animals make okay jewelry bags.
P.P.S. I'm sure I've forgotten at least one life-saving thing.
P.P.S. I'll catch you on the flip side (unless I can bogart a laptop.)

YESSSSSSSSS!! I use a diaper bag for a carry-on too! It has nice inner pockets for STUFF.
