You guys. (Do you hate it when I call you 'You Guys?' If you hate it, I'll stop. Probably.)
Anyway.
You guys. I want to write a post about my baby turning two. Because, YO. My BABY turned TWO. I'm still a little in awe [that I fucking made it this long] at how fast the time went. I have a deep, resonating post about it, somewhere. I just can't find it.
Because I'm still recovering from the Second Birthday Party.
Seriously. The next morning, I felt like I got run over by a BUS. And? I am STILL tired, I think. My house is just now getting put back together but, WOW.
So, in lieu of anything deep and/or moving and/or relatable...I'm giving you a picture essay. Of the [carnival] [festival] [circus] Second Birthday Party. Heh.
Look at this:
It's not a gigantic raspberry.
Or a vehicle designed to be put into orbit.
The Man bought this.
And then, he put my daughter in there and rolled her little two-year-old ass around the back yard.
.
See?
.
This [Concussion Contraption] castle belongs to The Man's friend and so [the price was right] we borrowed it for entertainment value.
Homeowner's premiums be DAMNED.
.
.
The anti-gravity system:
Floating kids are disturbing...
.
.
So, the mystery of why TLNG has a strong affinity for my BFF has been, uh, SOLVED.
.
.
Here she just looks SO HAPPY, right? The elastic band had her nose out of joint.
.
.
Well. It's better than a naked bathtub picture. (You really should click to get the full effect.)
.
.
All right. So, here's one of my favorites.
She looks happy and like herself.
Well, she looks like her TWO-YEAR-OLD self.
.
Sometimes, I still see this:

So cute. My daughter will be celebrating the big two in a month. Cannot believe it. Happy Birthday to TLNG!

OMG, look at that little baby!!! I think it's so funny that so many babies have that photo, like they're all checking their hairstyle or something.
We had one of those molecule ball things, but it blew away in a windstorm. :(

Oh my GOD, I just laughed so fucking hard I peed my pants. It was the ball that did it.

I love the "you guys" thing, and also the toesey pose.

Sooooo cute! Especially the nose pickin's - a nice little birthday gift to herself!

Wow. That ball. I'm not sure what to say. But I do know what to say about the nose-picking bouncy castle photo: awesome.
Congrats on being two, TLNG. It's gonna be a good year.

Where did you score the T-shirt? I can never find anything Sesame related for girls...not in anything under a 4T anyways.
And while we are on the Where subject...Love the ball bouncy thing, totally want one!
Oh and the pic of TLNG picking her schnozzle. Priceless.

I was so devastated when my girls turned two. I'm such an idiot. But it was the end of something. (Of course my husband would say, 'Why is it the end? Why can't it be the beginning of something new?' He's an a-hole like that.)
She is adorable and I want a ride in that crazy bubble contraption. Keep around for a visit from my crew this summer. We'll be rolling all over the yard.
Happy Birthday TLNG!

Such a sweetie pie. Happy birthday and congrats on surviving it!

I've got to win her over somehow, you know. And I'd prefer that over doing Sesame Street character impressions.

Yikes. TWO? Yes, it really does go that fast.
BTW, I also hate clowns. Creepy, scary, yucky. I hate clowns.
Did you know there is a group called clowns for Jeebus? True story. I won't be calling them.
