Here's what I've been doing all week:
.
.
I am nauseated, with a sore throat from the noxious adhesive that they use to attach the drywall. But the upside is the FREE ENTERTAINMENT. They bring a Satellite radio and the one guy sings at the TOP of his lungs, in the most HILARIOUS way possible. And not like, you know, handsome, masculine carpenter songs.
Yesterday, the best one was An Eternal Flame. By the BANGLES.
He belted out the high note, folks, and I about spit my tea through my nose.
Another and even BIGGER upside, is the absolute ABSENCE OF SKEEVE. These are guys who have a very small business, working for themselves, and I gotta tell you. It's nice (for me, who has a phobia of workmen in the house.) TLNG stands at the side door when they leave and waves and shouts, 'BYYYYE!' to them and they give her huge smiles and waves and it's just..well, it's great.
But it's been so noisy and stinky that we've been spending a lot of our time out, [sort-of] napping at The Little Sister's house and so, no posting.
Sorry aout that.
But listen! Sam had her baby! He's so suuuuper cute.
And The Little Sister is holding on. But here's a picture of her from last week's yoga class:
I love this picture. When she saw it, TLS said, 'It kind of looks like I have...like, two asses.'
Happy Weekend!

Thanks a lot. Now every time I do shoulder stands and back bends in yoga I'm going to worry about my two asses. And I'm not pregnant dammit.
Remodeling while living in your house is crazy making isn't it? Just hang in there and keep your eyes on the finished product.
We showered in our unfinished basement for almost two months while our bathroom was being finished. In a portable shower. In winter. Good times.

I think you might have found the coolest contractors ever.
TLS's yoga pose is making my back hurt. And my uterus.

If I had been in that position any time during my pregnancy I would have looked like a camel with an infected hump swollen to the size of another camel.
Yeah, sit with that for a while.

OMG your little sister is amazing.

Okay, our sheetrocking guy was JUST LIKE THAT. Radio, singing, non-skeevy. Maybe it's a characteristic of sheetrockers?

Would you delete this comment if I told you that the Bangles CASSETTE was the first tape I owned? It was my present for my 9th birthday along with my first stereo.

Manic Mommy: It was NOT SNOWING. It was SUMMERTIME.

I am not pregnant and I can not get into that pose! The little sister is clearly a show-off. No wonder you locked her out in the snow.

Holy Gizmo.. I think she is from another world. I am 22 weeks pregnant and could barely cross my legs. My pre-natel yoga dvd is just sitting on the side of my dvd player mocking me.
Can't wait to see the finish product!
hugs
