Welcome. We all float down here.
Not really, and that creepy line from an old Stephen King story just made me shudder. Ugh.
Anyway, hope you like the Kool-Aid. It's sweet and tasty.

I love it! I know they can be (really) cheesy in parts, but the next three are even better. You need the twilight back-story to set it all up though. Hurray for giving in!

Ha ha!! I just got sucked in too. I took my daughter to see the movie on Saturday. When we got home I bought the book for my Kindle. Daughter and I are now fighting over the Kindle as we both try to read the book. I wasn't going to give in either!!

Dear lawd, I had such high hopes you could escape the madness.
Sigh. I'll just welcome you to the club instead.

i also fell in line w/ the masses this week and regardless of the finger pointing and snickering, i heart this book. the girl (11) just finished book four and is near begging to go see the movie. i finished book one and am on to the next. teenage angst, it's good to be reminded of it : )

Welcome to the dark, cheesy side.

Hahaha! I succumbed last week and am currently on "New Moon". I don't care that they aren't great literature. I love them for all their teenage girl angst. TEAM EDWARD!

Meh. Been there, done that. Before all the OMGMUSTHAVE craze because I am an early adopter. Or I have too much time on my hands. Probably the latter. I'm also very cranky about trends, so if I found out about it now I would refuse to read it just for spite. Because I'm bitter and five zillion months pregnant and don't look at me like that or I'll cut you.
Posted by: Sam | November 22, 2008 at 03:23 PM
Gah, I've done it too. Although admittedly, I bought the book a LONG time ago due to an American friend's reccommendation. I just haven't got round to reading it yet. *Hides in shame*

Oh, A: I already HAVE. This? Is exactly what makes my story SO. TRAGIC. On a Shakespearean level.

I have a thing against vampires and refuse to invest my precious personal time reading a teenage vampire love story, that apparently have grave and glaring consistency issues. Not going to. NO I AM NOT. I have still not watched even a minute of Titanic on basic principal, I can resist this.

Yeah. I already told you I succumbed long ago. Reading the books doesn't make you a Twilight Mom, though. The one positive thing I will say about my experience with the books is that they reminded me VERY well what it was like to be a teenager and to feel all teenager-y.
I don't miss those days at all.

You should go over to Anne Nahm (annenahm.com) and go see about her twilight posts - and comments. Prepare to want to kill yourself. I will not submit.

HAHAHAHAHA! Twilight mom!
(I've read every single book Stephenie Meyer has put out, AND the partial book that she's not sure if she's ever going to complete.)
Your life will never be the same. May the force be with you.
