I am a relatively ordinary, relatively successful, relatively content, relatively *ahem* mature woman who has chosen, at the tender age of 38, to begin the journey into motherhood.

Anticipating that this will be a total trip (and perhaps very entertaining to bear witness to), I have decided to document the experience via this blog.

I can't promise that what I have to say will be in any way better or even different than the bazillion blogs you already read on the subject of parenting. I'm just inviting you along for the ride.
