I am a relatively ordinary, relatively successful, relatively content, relatively *ahem* mature woman who chose, at the tender age of 38, to begin the journey into motherhood.

Now the tired mother of two, I can say definitively that New (Girl) Motherhood is a total trip (and perhaps very entertaining to bear witness to.) I do my best to document the experience via this blog.

I don't promise that what I have to say is, in any way, better or even different than the bazillion blogs you already read on the subject of parenting. I'm just, you know, inviting you along for the ride.
